General Settings

Please go to Settings to customize Setting globally.

You will see three blocks here, “General Settings”, “Printer Settings” and “Allowed Countries, Currencies and Languages”. We are going to explain “General Settings” here.

“General Settings” are set per language. That means, whatever language is selected that settings will be applied while printing the cheque. It has individual settings as below:

  1. A/C Payee Text (i)
  2. Bearer Text
  3. Payee Name
  4. Not Above Text (i)
  5. Amount in Words
  6. Amount in Digit (comma separated)
  7. Calculate in Million(s)
  8. Amount in Digit (print **)
  9. Amount in Words (print **)
  10. Payee Name (print **)
  11. Amount in Digit (print /-)

(i) indicates Multi-Language field. You can switch language by pressing CTRL+g.

These settings will be appiled at each cheque that you are going to print.

Explaining each settings

A/C Payee Text

You can see two options while creating cheque layout: “Ac Pay (Crossed-Fix)” and “Ac Pay (Manual Adjust)”. The text entered at “A/C Payee Text” setting will be replaced in place of “Ac Pay (Manual Adjust)” while printing cheques. Check below images to understand more:

Bearer Text

The text entered here will be used for “Bearer” particular.

Payee Name

Used for printing “Payee Name” as capital or normal (as entered)

Not Above Text

Used for printing “Not Above” text line on cheque. Default text is Not Above [AMOUNT]. Here [AMOUNT] is a dynamic variable which will be replaced by actual amount.

For example, Amount = 152630.85, and Not Above Text = NOT ABOVE [AMOUNT] then the text that will be printed on cheque will be NOT ABOVE 152631.

Amount in Words

Used for printing “Amount in Words” as capital or normal

Amount in Digit (comma separated) & Calculate in Million

“Amount in Digit” is used to separate amount with comma (if set Yes) and “Calculate in Million” is used to translate amount in words as million (if set Yes). Both settings are quite related, check example below:

Amount in Digit (print **)

This is a security feature, used for printing “**” before and after “Amount”, like: **1,52,630.85**

Amount in Words (print **)

This is a security feature, used for printing “**” before and after “Amount in Words”, like: **FIFTEEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED THIRTY DOLLARS EIGHTY-FIVE CENTS**

Payee Name (print **)

This is a security feature, used for printing “**” before and after “Payee Name”, like: **Smitha Singh**

Amount in Digit (print /-)

Used for printing “/-” after “Amount”, like 1,52,630.85 /- OR **1,52,630.85 /-**
